**Duties**:

- Works as an assistant for the Facilities Operations Team Leader who makes specific assignments, explains polices and procedures and reviews work for quantity and quality of completed projects.
- Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users.
- Operates equipment and performs self-help maintenance on facilities and equipment.
- Prepares requirement lists for appropriated and non-appropriated supplies and equipment due to demand or need for replacement items.
- Tests mechanical equipment for service ability after each use.

**Conditions of Employment**:

- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- This position may require a health screening. Immunizations may be required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a USAREUR Driver's license.
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts to include evenings, weekends and holidays
- Willing to work outdoors and in inclement weather
- Ability to lift 40lbs
- Must be able to pass Random Drug Testing to handle firearms and ammunition

**Qualifications**:

- 1. Performs work that demonstrates the ability to perform the following duties: secure facility, issue equipment to customers, collect fees
- 2. Possesses and has the ability to maintain a valid driver's license
- Best Qualified Criteria:

- 1. Possess six months experience preforming basic maintenance to sports equipment ( ie. Bicycles, Snowboards, Skills)
- 2. Possess six months experience organizing & leading activities, classes, events, programs, tours and trips

**Pay-Band Allowances and Differentials**
- Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. **_If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay._** Sunday premium may be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). - Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Night differential may be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
