**What part will you play?**

You orchestrate an important part of the value chain by defining and continuously improving the quality of suppliers and their deliveries. You lead and manage the organisation of the supplier quality team and foster cross-functional collaboration with procurement, quality management, production and logistics, R&D organisation and/or project management (PM). Furthermore, you ensure the compliance of the SQM function with applicable legal, regulatory and customer requirements.
- You are involved in the development and implementation of the value-based SQ strategy, including a digitalisation lead
- You lead an assigned quality team and prioritise and assign tasks to team members and review the progress of agreed transactions and workflows
- You are responsible for driving efficiency through the implementation of automated and digital end-to-end workflows that ensure a seamless flow of information across the supply chain
- You are responsible for ensuring the availability of relevant process and supplier data and the comprehensive use of business intelligence using the latest analytical methods and artificial intelligence
- You are also responsible for ensuring and controlling the implementation of prevention-oriented SQM methods and risk management in supplier-related projects and products
- You ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of the supplier quality area of the Integrated Management System (IMS) within the SQM community
- You will also be responsible for ensuring the SQM qualification and competencies of the assigned team through the use of a training system in supply chain, quality management and data analytics
- You also contribute to budget planning

**What you need to make real what matters.**
- You successfully completed your master’s degree or comparable qualification in Mechanical / Material / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- You at least gained 5 years of experience in different areas of quality management, manufacturing or purchasing
- You have an experience in leading a team for at least 3 years in quality, manufacturing, procurement or similar functions
- You are familiar with core quality methods like APQP/PPAP, Value Stream Mapping, FMEA, 8D methodology, supplier contracting (quality assurance agreements)
- It is preferred to have experience and an auditor certification for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and being capable to perform process audits in accordance with VDA 6.3
- You are characterized by communication and presentation skills for management levels
- You have German & English language skills on a professional level
