**We are looking for**:
A Scientific Research Associate (M/F/d) to join our R&D Analytics group at our site in Heidelberg. As a member of a young, highly motivated team of biologists and biotechnologists, you will accompany the development of new, protein-based drugs from early identification to late development phases.

We are aiming for recruitment at the next possible date.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support in routine analysis in the field of biological activities, coagulation assays, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot and other basic analytical methods
- Assist in creation and preparation of data packages for method development and transfer to the GMP area. This includes statistical evaluation of data packages and participation in the preparation of laboratory reports
- Supervised implementation of methods on robotic high throughput platforms
- Creation of electronic lab notes and participation in the writing of e.g. development reports, work instructions and risk assessments
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and contribute to the general upkeep of laboratory
- Participation in scientific conferences and presentation of scientific data and literature in internal meetings

- You have a strong background in bioanalysis, biology, biochemistry or equivalent and hold a a Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Hands-on experience with basic analytical procedures such as protein quantification (BCA, Lowry), SDS-PAGE, Western blot as well as immunoassays (e.g. ELISA) or other multi-well based methods is essential for the job
- You will ideally have experience in the analysis of biomolecules (e.g. coagulation factors, immunoglobulins) and process impurities as well as protein-protein interaction characterization.
- Experience in handling automated high-throughput platforms as well as initial experience with Design of Experiment (DoE) methodology is a plus.
- Open and friendly communication skills as well as flexibility and an independent, structured way of working in a dynamically developing project environment are required.
