**SUMMARY**

The SAP HANA Performance Team is looking for experienced Performance Engineer (f/m/d) to work on our HANA Cloud on ARM porting project.

If you are passionate about about the performance related aspects of software development then we have the perfect opportunity for you.

**THE ROLE**

You can expect to
- Support port of SAP HANA to the ARMv8/9 CPU Platform
- Conduct performance analysis of complex scenarios taking into account hardware aspects
- Write performance regression tests using different programming languages (e.g. C++, Python, SQL) and test frameworks
- Optimize C++ code for the ARM platform
- Work with ARM experts from SAP partners

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**

Required skills:

- Ability to analyze and debug complex problems
- Experience in implementing and analyzing performance-critical algorithms
- Good C++ programming skills
- Knowledge on ARM platform specifics or experience with multi cpu platform development
- Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Verbal and written working proficiency in English

Preferred skills:

- Experience with profiling techniques and tools
- Familiarity with relational database management systems
- Verbal and written working proficiency in German
