We are currently looking for the **Head of Logistics Footprint & Technology (d/f/m) **to join our **“Logistics & Repair” **organization in **Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel.**

You will be working with colleagues located in Europe, US and Asia. You will join and lead a diverse team of highly experienced and knowledgeable people providing special process and logistics competencies. You will drive the space development, introducing new storage & transportation systems and strive for standards of MHE and material flows for all sites.

**HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM**
- Managing the industrial setup for 10 global warehouses across the globe with a total of 200.000 square meters and 2 million order lines per year
- Setting up modern, high-performance and cost-effective logistics and warehouse systems
- Executing transformation projects to drive continuous improvement and standardization of all 10 global warehouses, transportation and repair activities
- Being a leader as a coach: develop 10 team members according to their career aspirations and competences; Developing engagement, leadership and agility of the team which will be based in Hamburg, Copenhagen, Washington D.C., Singapore and China
- Driving the space development, introducing best fit storage and transportation systems, defining standards of material handling equipment and material flows for all sites.
- Designing and opening of new warehouses around the world by running network studies for new regions

This role will involve some travel for business in Europe and worldwide and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

**ABOUT YOU**

Equipped with a Degree in Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management (or similar) paired with professional experience ideally as a Logistics Consultant, Warehouse Planner/Manager (or a comparable role), we are looking for a team player with the following experience, skills and mindset:

- You have at least 5 years of experience in the Logistics environment with Leadership experience
- You have experience to plan and implement warehouse set-ups, storage systems and material handling equipment
- You lead your direct reports and all other functional team members by clear objective setting and with trust
- You are people focused and like to work in a multicultural environment
- You ensure team spirit and motivation within the team but also throughout the whole department
- Challenging the status quo, having the ability to trigger and driving the change is part of your DNA
- You have the ability to take decisions in an uncertain environment
- You have experience in stakeholder management as well as communication and networking skills (internal and external) from operational to executive level
- You bring very good analytical skills, ideally
- You have English language skills at negotiation level, any additional language is a plus
