Team Lead Operations

Our integrated logistics / supply chain management division combines cutting-edge technology with technical competency to provide customers with effective and sustainable supply chain performance. If you are excited about implementing a new business as a Team Lead, this is a golden opportunity for you.- ** Your Responsibilities**:
- Lead and motivate the team members and actively support their professional development, skills and experiences by executing regular performance review meetings
- Own operational escalations to ensure seamless business continuity
- Control of KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) and achievement of agreed performance level
- Ensure quality compliance as per internal and external regulations and agreements
- Ensure that all necessary SOPs (Standard Operations Processes) and WIs (Working Instructions) related with team field of responsibility are properly set up and up-to-date
- Take an active role in the meetings with Business Management, Customers and KN 3PL and others
- Support internal and external audits in your team
- Work in close and trustful cooperation with the Business Managers (BM) and all other involved departments (Business Support, Quality Management).
**Your Skills and Experiences**:
- Formal education in Transport and/or Logistics
- Minimum 5 years management experiences in the Transport and/or Logistics sector
- Experiences in managing employees functionally and disciplinary, ability to motivate and lead people also under pressure and to set priorities for yourself and your team members
- Solid experiences in air freight transport, focus on aerospace would be an advantage
- Process driven, very good (self-) organizing skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Fluency in English and German (written and spoken)
- Very good communication skills and high customer centric mindset
- Willingness to provide stand-by-services (on call duty)
