[internship] QA for Rogue-like Deckbuilding Game

At Spellfusion, we strive to create captivating indie games by merging the tried and trusted with the innovative and new. We're looking for a QA intern based in NRW, Germany, and currently enrolled as a university or college student to support our latest project, Nether Spirits.
Depending on your university's schedule, the internship will start between May 2023 and June 2023 and will last three months, or up to six months if it's a mandatory internship.
Nether Spirits is a rogue-like deckbuilder set in a mystical realm known as The Nether, a place where fractured souls fight tooth and nail to reach their goal: a pillar of blue light said to make them whole again.
Tasks
- Conduct manual testing of game features, including gameplay mechanics, user interface, and multiplayer functionality
- Identify, report, and track bugs using Clickup and GitLab
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Active participation in the development of new features by giving feedback
- Optional: support with creating, adjusting and trying out new cards and enemies with our editor
**Requirements**:
- You live in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Germany, or are willing to move to NRW for the duration of the internship (necessary due to funding regulations)
- You're currently enrolled for a bachelor's or master's degree
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with developers and team members
- Passion for games and game development
- You're fluent in either German or English
**Bonus if**:
- You need a mandatory internship for your degree
- Familiarity with Unity game engine
- Familiarity with deckbuilder, strategy or roguelike games
- Prior experience with multiplayer game testing
- Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git
