**Constructor University **(formerly Jacobs University Bremen gGmbH) is a private, state-accredited, English-language research university in Bremen. The Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS) is one of the leading social science graduate schools in Germany with its own structured doctoral program. It is jointly run by the University of Bremen and the private Constructor University and currently supervises more than 70 international doctoral students, financed by various funding programs and drawn from the social science research foci of both universities. The BIGSSS training concept combines the strengths of Bremen's social science landscape with an innovative, interdisciplinary qualification concept and a supervision concept that emphasizes the early independence of doctoral students.

**The BIGSSS Admissions and Administration Officer holds a central and important position at BIGSSS and its administration being the first contact for all interested applicants.**:
**Your responsibilities**:
- Assistance with academic management, e.g. enrolment of PhD fellows, data input in BIGSSS fellow administration software (ALiCA)-
- Assistance with event management and conference organization-
- Administrative procedures of BIGSSS at Constructor University**Your profile**:
- Applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent)-
- General knowledge of office administration and experience in business administration-
- Good command of MS Office programs and ability to learn other software with little guidance-
- Excellent written and spoken English and German-
- Experience in project management-
- Well-organized, detail‐oriented, flexible, and enjoy working independently in a team-
- Highly motivated, creative and communicative with a keen interest in working in an international and dynamic environment**We offer**:
