The Growth Alliance enables HelloFresh to expand by getting more customers to try, recommend, and return back to our products. We build digital customer facing products that are used by customers all over the world. Our teams work at a global scale on services like scalable web mono repo infrastructure, checkout funnel on web and native apps, discounting and wallet services, price experimentation infrastructure, and referral marketing technology. **The role**:
**What you'll do**:
- **Support** design leads in the Conversion and Customer Benefits domains to scale the design practice in a tremendous growth phase.
- **Attract** and retain a diverse team of highly talented design leaders and designers with an eye to balancing skill sets and capabilities.
- **Contribute** to the open and inclusive culture where designers grow in their careers, feel a strong sense of belonging, and experience a diverse number of design challenges.
- **Create** an environment of accountability within the Growth design team for customer-centric execution that our prospective customers will love.
- **Set** quality standards and implement process improvements to measure and support them.
- **Align** with product and engineering on priorities leading to product design and execution.
- **Drive** the design vision with your fellow design directors.
**What you'll bring**:
- Significant experience in leading multiple teams and initiatives simultaneously.
- A track record of conceptualizing and shipping successful eCommerce or subscription products.
- The ability to lead complex design topics, scaling your presence from clearly communicating a design vision to addressing process or organisational issues.
- An informed set of design principles from shipping and learning throughout your career, demonstrating your ability to inspire diverse teams to a customer-centred vision.
- A deep understanding of human-centred design practices, how to leverage product design to solve complex business problems, and digital product development (consumer research, engineering, and data).
- Senior people management, team development, recruiting and org building experience.
- Experience building relationships with leadership across the organisation and a comfort in influencing strategic decisions.
