**Senior Strategic Buyer (d/f/m)**:
You will develop end to end business solutions directly influencing Airbus cost, revenues (Aftermarket) & EBIT contribution.
You will collaborate with suppliers based all over the world to accelerate innovations bringing value and differentiation to our customers.
You will lead a multi-functional team, responsible for the alignment with Programs, Supply Chain, Engineering, Customer Services, Finance etc. bringing the big picture in your perimeter. You will develop a large network internally and externally.
The role requires agility, ability to work autonomously in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment, an affinity for negotiations (both internal and external), and the aptitude to read and write contracts. You will be responsible for the representation of Airbus to external suppliers and to work conceptually on strategic proposals for the Commodity/Procurement.
**Your location**
The largest production site for civil aircraft can be found in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe means that you can travel to work by ship. The vibrant port of Hamburg is a green and cosmopolitan city brimming with culture.

Your accountabilties
- Developing and implementing sourcing
- & negotiation strategies
- Management of contracts throughout the full life cycle of the products
- Ensuring compliance between contracts terms & conditions and the activities conducted by the supplier and by Airbus
- Alignment across the different Company functions (mainly Programs, Supply Chain, Engineering and Customer Services) for purchased products
- Professional and trusting supplier relationship management with aeronautical industry players of all sizes and uphold the company ethics and compliance standards in all your dealings
Your boarding pass
- You hold a Master Degree in Engineering, Business school or comparable
- You are an effective contract and international negotiator with proven commercial and contractual background and legal awareness
- Preferably, you have experience in Engineering, Programmes, Procurement Operations or Customer Support with efficient Project Management skills
- You have experience in supplier relationship management and Procurement, or other equivalent experience in managing external stakeholders
- You speak English on negotiation level

- You demonstrate a high level of international communication skills
- You display authentic leadership behavior and values that people and teams want to follow
