Technical Administrator Quality

**Description**

The Technical Administrator is part of the OneSource Services team and will be based at our customer site in Wuppertal, Germany. Responsibilities include quality assurance tasks in addition to supplier management and improving technical and administrative efficiencies with the overall goal of increasing equipment uptime and meeting required quality demonstrations.

The Technical Administrator will report regularly to PerkinElmer and the customer's management team. Extensive training in quality, compliance and process procedures will take place at the outset.

**Responsibilities**
- Quality assurance according to 4-eyes-principle - second-check of calibrations, performance controls and repair reports of analytical instruments within the scope of planned and recovering third party activities as well as completion of related documentation and marking and updating of databases
- GMP controls (logbook)
- Release of equipment (labeling)
- Initial review of supplier documentation (checking completeness before handover to customer for sign-off)
- Administration and management in quality reporting, laboratory supplier activity, including briefing of engineers, on-site escorts, and issuance of work permits
- Basic monthly performance testing of balances, osmometers, electronic pipettes, fume hoods, water systems, and other small laboratory systems
- Compliance with company policies, procedures and standards, cGMP, cGLP, occupational health and safety, regulatory requirements, and customer requirements
- Support completion of laboratory testing/CAPA closures and support completion of ongoing review to ensure customer objectives are met
- Ad hoc ordering of site consumables as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with analytical instruments in a laboratory or other regulated environment preferred
- High level of reliability and understanding of quality
- Strong organizational skills and a good eye for detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with instrument vendors and internal customers
- Good administrative skills
- IT skills in MS Office
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
