**Company Description**
Rypples is an ocean-focused impact investment firm created by two impact unicorn founders on a mission to accelerate the transition to a sustainable world. We invest in entrepreneurs who are rethinking how we use, protect, and nurture the ocean. Our north star is to help scale more ocean positive solutions faster.
As a Founder Associate (and our first hire ), you will work on a wide range of topics to drive the execution of our strategy.
That would include:
- Organize the way we work (Technology, processes, )
- Help build the brand and extend our network
- Evaluate markets and investment opportunities
- Conduct due diligence and build investment cases
- Work with portfolio companies to report impact and performance

**Qualifications**
First of all, you have a conviction that we must (and can) become the first sustainable generation and you are willing to dedicate your professional life to help us get there.
This is a pretty pivotal role in an early stage fast growing investment firm, perfect for an ex-founder or someone with VC/Consulting experience who wants to become one. You will enjoy the role if you are a fast thinker who thrives in ambiguity and rapid change on the edge of their comfort zone. You’ll also need to be well-versed in finance and investing, be a super strong communicator and have an overall positive infinite mindset.
The role is remote but you need to be in a US/EU friendly timezone. Diverse teams perform better so ideally you bring something different that widens our perspective.
