For our location in Bad Neustadt a.d. Saale we are currently looking for a

**Head of Global Plant Buyer (M/F/d)**

**Your duties**
- Implementation, management and control of the department's strategic goals, budget and tasks
- Responsibility for the implementation of strategic purchasing guidelines in the plants
- Implementation of cost reduction measures, optimizations and "best practice" solutions
- Central point of contact for escalations in logistics issues
- Interface and collaboration with supplier management, supply chain management and others, as well as ensuring cross-plant communication
- Disciplinary and technical management of the department and ensuring personnel development for current and future tasks
- Planning, controlling and monitoring the fulfilment of tasks by directly assigned employees and assessing their performance
- Entrepreneurial management of the department in accordance with financial principles with a view to the efficient use of resources
- Contributing to the strategic orientation of the department and deriving operational objectives for the area of responsibility in coordination with the Director, in particular contributing to budget planning

**Your profile**
- Successfully completed studies, e.g. in the field of economics or engineering or a comparable qualification
- Excellent knowledge in the above-mentioned area for which you are responsible
- Structured, independent and analytical working methods
- Proactive, cross-departmental and entrepreneurial thinking and behaviour
- Self-confident manner, assertiveness and strong negotiation skills
- Goal-orientated, team-oriented and motivating leadership style with a high level of social skills for managing your team
- Very good communication skills both internally and externally
- Fluency in German and English is required, additional language preferred
- Strong experience in an intercultural environment
- Willingness to travel
