**About Protect AI**:
Protect AI is shaping, defining, and innovating a new category within cybersecurity around the risk and security of AI/ML. Our ML Security Platform enables customers to see, know, and manage security risks to defend against unique AI security threats, and embrace MLSecOps for a safer AI-powered world. **Role**:
Protect AI is looking for a talented Product Designer to drive design initiatives for our AI security web platform and other products in our portfolio. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering teams, playing a key role in shaping the user experience for all future releases—from concept through execution. A strong technical understanding of the product, its various use cases, and the ability to balance design aspirations with feasible timelines are essential to success in this position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design new features that align with user needs, best UX practices, and sound design principles.
- Contribute to and refine the existing design system to ensure consistency, streamline component building, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Play a key role in shaping the branding across various platforms and support Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives to effectively promote the platform.
- Conduct or assist with user research and testing to gather actionable insights and data that drive meaningful improvements to the platform.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure scoping accounts for diverse needs and requirements across the company.

**What we are looking for**:

- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of design principles.
- Expertise in the full design cycle: from concept, research, and scoping to wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
- Hands-on experience in designing SaaS products, with an emphasis on functionality, usability, and user experience.
- Skilled in creating personas, user journeys, storyboards, and user flows to inform and guide design decisions.
- Adept at quick design iterations based on user feedback and research to continuously improve product experience.
- Strong documentation skills and the ability to present design work effectively to cross-functional teams, including product and engineering.
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards, responsive design, and development processes, ensuring designs are inclusive and technically feasible.
- A portfolio that demonstrates expertise in typography, color theory, layout design, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale and collaborate with stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- B.A. in UX Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (preferred).
- A portfolio showcasing strong user-centered design, research processes, usability principles, and web-based UX/UI examples.
- Experience creating pixel-perfect mockups and interactive prototypes.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest design and UX trends.
- Proficiency in Figma, and other prototyping tools.

**Nice to have**:

- Comfortable with front-end development and React. Designers are not expected to code but we do expect them to understand what can and cannot be built in a reasonable timeframe.
- Experience with B2B enterprise software.
