**Your tasks**:

- Responsibility for development activities and research projects across the entire remit/product portfolio
- Management of the department in professional and disciplinary terms, taking into account costs and efficiency (number of employees > 100)
- Developing and networking innovative solutions, ensuring innovative strength and expanding innovative capacity in the area of responsibility
- Development, selection and standardisation of innovative automation solutions for the entire BPT product portfolio
- Development of automation solutions together with suppliers
- Responsibility for the implementation of the goals on time and within budget
- Ensuring efficient working processes in the area of automation technology (development and construction)
- Responsibility for the targeted development, testing and piloting of automation solutions (HW, SW, digitalization)
- Recognition of synergy effects of cross-portfolio concepts

**Your profile**:

- Successfully completed studies in the field of automation technology or electrical engineering and information technology
- Extensive practical experience relevant to the position as well as several years of management experience
- Experience with electrical and electrotechnical components
- Resilient, convincing personality
- Assertiveness, personal initiative and willingness to perform
- Innovative strength as well as target
- and result-oriented way of working
- Very good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
- Very good command of spoken and written English and German
- Very high willingness to travel

Krones has agreed an acknowledged pay scale with the Bavarian IG Metall trade union. In addition to a purely job-related salary, Krones also pays a large number of voluntary corporate fringe benefits - such as extra payments in the event of employee illness or an ability to have a share in the company’s success.
