**Essential Job Functions**
- Complete order processing, coordination and monitoring of ocean freight shipments.
- Deals directly with clients, vendors, overseas stations, and agents to ensure the quickest and best movement of cargo.
- Seek the most profitable mode of shipment yet meet customer’s requirement for the movement of freight (comparison of modes of transport, services, etc.).
- Control and disposition of transports (pre
- and on-carriage) for ocean freight shipments, according to the customer's requirements
- Prepares documents necessary to complete export, import and customs clearance process.
- Track and trace cargo as necessary to insure proper movement and delivery.
- Proper and correct billing and cost information populated in TMF for accurate invoicing and job costing (incl all cost accruals and estimated revenues).
- Close contact and collaboration with the team and supervisor, Escalation to supervisor in case of difficulties, failures, or claims (Follow the Claim Policy)
- KPI adherence: Minimum number of jobs handled per operator (evaluated quarterly): Ocean Import: min. 60 files per month.

- No loss files (follow up with overseas offices and customer), weekly routine as preparation for the month end closing.
- 100% Compliance with operational KPIs in regard to DNI, LNR, ROTP, Pre alerts unaccepted / not posted, Credit Notes, POD Latency, Milestones, etc.
- Participation in mandatory internal/external training incl. timely completion of Crane University (E-Learning) courses
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must possess strong working knowledge of all rules, regulations, governance and documentation preparations, as it pertains to both Imports and Exports.
- must demonstrate a fast, efficient & reliable work ethic.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills are required, due to the high volume and demands of the position.
**Education & Experience**
- Knowledge of dangerous goods handling
- Understanding FCPA regulations
- Understanding of International Trade Regulations
- 3 years industry experience at a similar level
- Finalized Apprenticeship for forwarding and logistics or similar.
