Owing to the continued growth of our school St. George's School seeks a well-qualified teacher of Mathematics to work across our secondary schools, to begin in August 2024.

**The School**:

**The Location**:
The school’s new campus is located in the area of Schwabing-Freimann, to the north of the city centre. The site enjoys good access to the U6 metro line, as well as the A9 motorway.

**The Role**:
We are seeking to appoint a qualified Mathematics Teacher to work within our team of secondary teachers. The role is to teach iGCSE and IBDP.

The successful applicant will be a dynamic teacher with experience of enabling pupils to achieve their potential. We are looking for the right balance between experience, enthusiasm and a passion for teaching that will inspire our pupils.

The secondary department covers the age range 11-18 and incorporates the curricula for Key Stage 3, IGCSE and IB Diploma. Familiarity with the British education system is therefore a prerequisite. Experience of IB teaching is preferred, but not required.

The Mathematics Faculty promotes an enthusiasm for mathematical learning and an awareness of the importance of mathematics in life.

Given the growing and developing nature of the school, flexibility and the desire to support other team members is a prerequisite. A strong desire to contribute to the rich pastoral and extra-curricular life of the school will also be an advantage.

All applicants should hold a valid teaching qualification. We consider a degree in education (e.g. B.Ed./M.Ed./Lehramt), or postgraduate teaching certificate (e.g. PGCE) as valid. English language teaching certificates (e.g. TEFL/IELTS/CELTA) are not sufficient.
