For our location in **Berlin** we are looking for a **(20h/week)**

**Student Worker (M/F/d) in our IT department**

Your tasks will include:

- Supporting the maintenance and optimization of the local company networks, servers and phone system according to ITIL best practices;
- Assisting with device and password management;
- Assist in monitoring data backup and system security (e.g., user authorization, firewalls);
- Assist in managing installations, upgrades, and configurations of hardware and software;
- Assist in monitoring system performance and recommend improvements;
- Assist in managing contracts with technology vendors (e.g., telecommunications companies, password managers) and software licenses;
- Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing operational IT policies and processes;
- Identify and address issues and improvement opportunities for the business;
- Assist in ensuring the availability of required hardware, software and other tools necessary to provide quality IT service;
- Assist in performing inspections and overseeing maintenance, repair and replacement to ensure IT equipment and workstations are functional;
- Identify potential future IT challenges and necessary steps to mitigate risk;
- Ensuring the security and integrity of the information database.

Your Profile:

- You are an enrolled student, ideally pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, information science, or a related discipline
- You have the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
- You are a strong communicator in German and English.
