SAP has recently founded Delos Cloud GmbH to deliver a vendor and solution-neutral sovereign cloud and accelerate the digital transformation of public services in Germany. Catering to the need for digitization in the public sector, the new company will act as a trusted partner providing an open sovereign cloud platform. With Sovereignty and Security at its heart, the cloud infrastructure offering is designed to meet the strict and unique national requirements set out by the German Government’s multi-cloud strategy. The development team is responsible for designing and creating a pre-GA landscape for the technical aspects of the preparations.

**What you'll do**

You will be part of the Delos Cloud Security team and responsible for developing end-to-end security architectures for the new company’s IT systems and product offerings. You will maintain awareness of industry security architectures, and research and test their applicability. You will work with IT Architects and engineers, product development teams and other cyber security professionals to design and implement security architectures.
- Develop, update, and roll-out security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines
- Drive solutions that enable automation of workflows and analytical processes, remediation, and alerting of network and device vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define and enhance security solutions and provide guidance on scoping and sizing technological investments
- Provide guidance on our highly complex project that requires in-depth knowledge of one or more specialized architecture areas with an initial focus on infrastructure architecture
- Leverage a comprehensive understanding of SAP’s technology and information needs to develop and test security structure to protect its systems
- Provide expertise in evaluating third party vendors and solutions
- Ensure alignment of solutions with business and technology strategy, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and adherence to policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other architects to develop Center of Excellence to document standards, tools, and best practices
- Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures, and recommend changes
- Ensure enforcement of security and risk management policies and standards
- Proactively research on technology trends, changing threat landscape, security best practices, and drive latest tools and techniques in current practice
- Provide mentoring and training to junior staff members to enhance their skillset

**What you bring**
- IT Security Management standards (BSI Grundschutz)
- Knowledge of security frameworks, architectures, and best practices
- Knowledge of network security technologies, log formats, SIEM technologies, and security operations
- Security Certifications, e.g. CISA, CISM, Security+
- Quality focus
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Lead and engage talents
- Fluent German and English language skills both written and oral
- EU citizenship
- Readiness to work in the to-be-founded SAP subsidiary
- Readiness for a German government security clearance

Work experience
- 8 - 10 years of functional experience in IT security and/or security architecture
- Experience in operations, managing a team and coordination of contracted 3rd party resources
- Experience with implementing Agile and DevSecOps concepts
