Postdoc in Accelerated Engineering of Optogenetic

The work will be embedded in our international and interdisciplinary group with leading expertise in molecular optogenetics providing a stimulating scientific atmosphere, many opportunities for collaboration and synergies between the members and the projects as well as comprehensive support structures.
Your Profile
- PhD with strong experience in protein biochemistry
- Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Biophysics, Chemistry or a related discipline
- Experience in
- recombinant protein production
- protein purification by FPLC or related techniques
- protein characterization by SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Western blot
- Optimally, experience and interest in automated, multi-parallel experimental designs with data-driven optimization
- Optionally, experience in transfer-related activities
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage ambitious projects with internal and external partners.
