As A&R representative focused on Dance and Electronic Music you will be responsible to define and implement the sourcing and acquisitions strategy, signing new artists and labels and guiding said artists’ career when they are signed to Believe Distribution Services.

You will be responsible for discovering the new talents from Central and Eastern Europe (outside GSA).

**Responsibilities**:
1/ Identify emerging and established artists and label leads with a focus on Dance and Electronic music
- Audit and identify emerging artists market trends
- Monitor believe analytics and public tool analytics for talent detection
- Carrying out first discussions with the artists and their management to pitch our services and follow up through to offer negotiations
- Identify the artists’ needs and build the perfect services offer in coordination with your Head of Sales

2/ Qualify Artists services expectations, careers projects and releases plans
- Collect Artists & Labels needs and populate our CRM activity
- Manage the portfolio of your signed artists and labels
- Support artists and labels in custom-made release strategy, coordinate the project with Editorial Promotion departments
- Carry the strategy for artist new releases and back catalogue across all platforms increasing visibility, fan engagement, content streaming and sales

3/ Identify Market Trends and market dynamics and report to management
- Build strong relationships with artists, management and the local industry (songwriters, promotors, etc.)
- Attend meetings, gigs, showcases, conferences, and other events to represent Believe across Central and Eastern Europe

**Qualifications**
- You must have a good knowledge of the dance and electronic music scene, and a good understanding of the music industry in general.
- A first experience in the music business and an already existing network of contacts in the industry are necessary
- You must be fluent in English and have excellent spoken and written communication skills (additional language is +), German language is not required
- You must show a particular interest in Dance Music
- You must be able to work alone as well as part of a team
