Control & Reporting Accountant (F/m/d)

The scope of the following responsibilities is the German companies within Iberdrola Deutschland reporting the Control & Reporting Manager (CFO):

- Controlling and execution of all financial/accounting operations.
- Perform month-end and year-end close process.
- Support on the preparation of budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Interact with the external outsourcer on the preparation and publication of yearly Financial Statements.
- Liaison with External Agents such as external auditors, local outsourcers or local Tax authorities.
- Develop and document business processes to comply with Iberdrola Group accounting policies and internal controls.

**_MAIN FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES_**:
Collaborate and provide support to the Control & Reporting Manager (CFO) for Germany. In particular:

- Financial & Analytical Accounting:

- Preparation of information for the reporting to Iberdrola Renovables Control & Administration Departments (Accounting, Investments, Management Control, Consolidation).
- Provide support to the German Offshore & Onshore Project Teams

**_REQUIREMENTS _**:

- Advanced degree in Accounting or Economics.
- Master’s degree would be positively assessed.
- Proven working experience as a Financial controller/accountant.
- Accounting and finance experience as auditor or similar.
- English. Full professional proficiency. Certificates and/or test may be required.
- German. Full professional proficiency. Certificates and/or test may be required.
- Spanish. Positively assessed.

**_SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE_**:

- Knowledge of IFRS and German GAAP accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with preparation and publication of financial statements.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office.
- Advanced accounting software user (preferably SAP).
