**Role Summary**:
This role has primary HR leadership accountability for the Markets business line in Germany, and the generalist HR hub (all business lines and corporate functions) in Austria & Switzerland. The role also has secondary leadership responsibility as HR integrator (explained further below) for the DACH region. The role will focus on delivering the following outcomes:
Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to executive stakeholders (business and HR) across the DACH region. In this capacity as trusted advisor and partner, the role will be a key member of the following governance groups: Business leadership team in Germany (primary stakeholder = Country Leader, Germany)
EMEA HR Leadership Team
EMEA Markets People Partners’ Forum

Deliver the global Markets business line People Strategy in the DACH region, and collaborate with People Partners from the other business lines and functions to deliver their People Strategies in Austria and Switzerland, via the generalist HR hub
Promote HR best practice & operational excellence in the DACH region
Integrate HR across the DACH region. This will involve bringing the HR community in the region together, while maintaining a focus on, and primary accountability for HR outcomes in, the Markets business line
Leverage the HR Centres of Expertise (CoE) teams to meet the strategic HR needs of the business

Key Accountabilities 1 - Business /HR Strategy & Leadership

**For the Markets business line in Germany**: Support business leaders to define and implement the business strategy
Partner with HR CoEs to define the talent & reward strategies to drive business performance & growth
Anticipate & diagnose the impact of external environment and macro trends on the business
Support the growth strategy, including M&A, of the business across your region by providing expertise during bid, acquisition, and restructuring

For the other business lines and functions in Austria & SwitzerlandWork in partnership with the relevant business line and function People Partners to support business leaders to define & implement the business and people strategy

Communicate a clear, accurate understanding of HR analytics (e.g., global engagement survey, succession bench metrics, turnover, demographics) to the business, & provide insights + strategic direction on how to use them to grow the business, deliver results and drive HR improvement
Key Accountabilities 2 - DACH HR Integrator
Lead the HR community (PXP, CoE etc) within the DACH region. This will involve: Acting as coach and mentor to the HR community (all business lines & CoEs) within DACH
Convening and leading the following key governance meetings within DACH HR regularly: Bi-weekly DACH HRLT meeting
Quarterly HR DACH Townhall
Weekly meeting with Germany Country Leader

Represent HR (all business lines) on the business leadership team in Germany
