**Job Description**:
- Defining the general layout & architecture within wind turbine systems.
- Specifying, designing & calculating the different components of functional systems (on-board safety systems and assembly & maintenance enabling systems).
- Coordinating efforts to integrate various systems and subsystems (rest of sub-systems and/or disciplines).
- Gathering, compiling & participating in the definition and management of WTG Requirements outside technology (industrial, construction, services, logistics ).
- Coordinating & reviewing designs done by suppliers.
- Collaborating to manage and maintain the configuration structure of the product throughout complete lifecycle.
- Generation of design documentation: RD´s, VRAC´s, DR´s, ICD´s, diagrams, sketches, layouts, quality specs.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Design Environment.
- Deep knowledge in design tools - 3D & 2D environment.
- Knowledge in the product structures management and PLM systems are an added advantage.
- Expert in interface management, regulations, manufacturing processes, drafting standards, product structure definition.
- Experience of mechanical components design.
- Knowledge of safety with the aim of improving design solutions.
- Knowledge of regulations and standards related to WTG certification.
- Proficient in GD&T.
- PLM software: Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP.
- Preferable domains: Wind Turbine, Aerospace and Automobile.
