- Disease Modeling: You will use gene editing techniques to develop innovative disease models, particularly cardiovascular diseases. Your research will contribute to advancing our understanding of disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets.
- Preclinical AAV/LNP-Based Mouse Models: You will gain valuable experience generating and validating preclinical mouse models using gene editing and AAV/LNP vector technologies. These models will be essential for investigating new therapeutic strategies and validating potential treatments.
**Your profile**:

- Gene Editing: Familiarity with gene editing technologies such as CRISPR/Cas9, Base editors, or Prime editors is advantageous.
- Cell Culture and Characterization: Experience in isolation, culture, and characterization of primary cell systems, stem cells, and organoids, as well as proficiency in techniques like FACS (Fluorescence-activated cell sorting) and histology.
- Molecular Biology and Biochemical Methods: Proficiency in molecular biology techniques and biochemical methods, including gene expression analysis, using OMICs approaches, metabolome, proteome, or secretome analyses, as well as bioinformatic foundations for the analysis of genomics/OMICs data is a plus.
- Animal Studies: Previous involvement in performing animal studies with disease models is desirable.
