Platform Associate

We are looking for a Platform Associate to join our team in Cologne, Germany.

As Platform Associate, you will operate, extend and shape the xdeck platform. This is a versatile position in the xdeck accelerator, especially on operationally supporting our existing partner firms and startups, as well as extending our startup and partner portfolios.

About xdeck

xdeck is an early-stage venture platform for B2B tech startups. It combines an equity
- and cost-free startup accelerator with a pre-seed focused venture capital fund. Over the past three years, we have established xdeck as a leading B2B tech platform in Germany, and we continue to grow.

Tasks

Your activities and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Partnerships Program: Identify, establish, and nurture partnerships with corporations that align with xdeck’s mission and goals; initiate relationships between our portfolio companies and our corporate partners; act as the go-to person for several of our partner companies.
- Acceleration Offering: Strategize and implement the next iteration of our acceleration program, further institutionalize our ever-growing network of experts, mentors and alumni, act as an entrepreneurial sparring partner for several of the startup teams in our accelerator batches.
- Scouting Activities: Set up and operate a scalable and future-proof tool stack for our scouting activities, oversee the scouting activities and steer the work of our venture scouts, drive our selection process for startups in our accelerator from start to finish.

As Platform Associate, you will quickly become the key person for all xdeck accelerator activities by working hands-on with founders and leaders alike.

**Requirements**:
**Key requirements include**:

- An academic track record with a university degree in business or any other entrepreneurial field of study and / or
- Practical experience in a fast-paced environment (e.g., startups/scaleups, venture capital, consulting)
- A people person able to interact with a wide range of personalities, from startup founders to enterprise executives
- An analytical mindset, the ability to work on a conceptual level and a strong bias to action once plans are set
- Fluency in German and English
- Preferably a basic network in the German startup scene
