The German Cancer Research Center is the largest biomedical research institution in Germany. With more than 3,000 employees, we operate an extensive scientific program in the field of cancer research.

To strengthen the team of the Division of Biostatistics, we are seeking a biostatistician to start at the earliest possible date.

**Job description**:

- Provide biostatistical consulting and support in all phases of projects in clinical cancer research from the design of studies, data analysis to interpretation and publication of results; special focus is on the design and analysis of clinical trials

**Requirements**:

- Master / Diploma / PhD in (bio-)statistics, mathematics or a related discipline
- Sound knowledge in the field of statistics; experience with the design and analysis of clinical trials is an advantage
- Solid statistical programming skills, preferably with R
- Very good written and oral communication skills in English
- Strong interest in interdisciplinary research
