**Project specialist for Product Life Cycle Management (d/f/m)**:
The successful applicant will join the PDM Projects & Roadmaps Department.

You will be part of a team that is responsible to deliver PDM/PLM Tools to support Engineering, Configuration Management, Quality, Operation and logistic support activities across the Airbus Defence and Space business.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- Conduct the project qualification e.g. analyse and evaluate the business
- and/ or IM requirements incl. respective business process changes if necessary. Translate the business needs into IT requirements and proactively identify opportunities for business transformation or improvements enabled by technology. Identify key drivers and key success factors, prepare project mandates including project breakdown structure and cost estimation, prepare binding offers to the customer/sponsor including the PM process to be adopted e.g. waterfall, agile scrum etc.
- Responsible for the planning, management and monitoring of IM projects (on Division or Airbus level) in regard to expected time, costs and quality (in terms of defined Business Value) including the hand over into operations, i.e. support the business case creation, prepare the programme/project planning scope, work breakdown, deliverables, project organisation, roles and responsibilities, cost break down, time schedule and milestones. Conduct the procurement planning of goods and suppliers. Represent the projects, communicate, generate status reports for the stakeholder and steering committee meetings, taking into account the project governance established in the business system
- Manage the internal and external project resources during the complete lifecycle of the project
- Proactively serves as a “trusted advisor,” and acts as a key point of contact for business stakeholders
- Ensure the budget, report / escalate in case of cost overrun, propose and initiate corrective measures
- Ensure the execution of all work packages in expected cost, time and quality, in collaboration with the involved stakeholders and external suppliers, incl. Management of internal and external project resources during the complete lifecycle of the project
- Implement a continuous risk and opportunity management and quality measures, i.e. prepare and submit project change requests (scope and impact) to the Steering Committee, monitor & control the project execution and the compliance to the planning, update planning if necessary
- Ensure the preparation and provision of the documentation for reporting, analysis, specification, development and integration of solutions on the basis of the project governance determined in the business system
- Manage & contribute in the definition / development of the E2E roadmap for our PLM solutions
- Contribute to the development of functional assigned project team members (Leadership)

The role will involve occasional travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
