**We are looking for**:
An Automation Specialist (M/F/d) to join the Automation and Data Management group in the Research & Development Department at Octapharma Biopharmaceuticals. The Automation and Data Management group is responsible for the development, evaluation and maintenance of lab automation processes as well as custom data management solutions across groups and projects within the R&D Department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Development, adaption and maintenance of automated workflows in cooperation with scientists from all R&D groups
- Internal user training for the automated systems
- First-line technical support for the in-house automation systems
- Expansion of the existing systems and their technical adaption to changing requirements
- Documentation of method protocols (non-GxP)
- Interfacing data acquisition and data processing
- Coordination of external maintenance tasks

***Your profile**:

- Cooperative and communicative behavior
- Technical experience in operating liquid handling platforms, especially Tecan, for mid
- to high-throughput screening campaigns in a biotechnological environment
- Experience in writing adjustable scripts for liquid handling platforms (preferably Tecan Freedom EVOware®)
- Ability and willingness to adapt to changing requirements of the liquid handling platforms in a dynamic R&D surrounding
- Interest in development of new screening approaches
- Experience in coding languages (VBA, VBS, Python) is a considered a plus
- Experience with data management or LIMS tools is considered a plus
- Fluent English skills, good German knowledge is considered a plus
