Cooking Teacher

The Berlin Cosmopolitan School (BCS) is an international, non-profit school with a focus on natural sciences, music, and dance. BCS offers a kindergarten and preschool, as well as an elementary school and a high school. The kindergarten and preschool were founded in 2004, the elementary school in 2007, and the high school in 2009. BCS is located at two sites in the heart of Berlin Mitte, a quiet area between Alexanderplatz, Monbijou Park, Hackescher Markt, and Prenzlauer Berg. Over 820 children and students, as well as 170 staff members from more than 44 countries, are part of the Berlin Cosmopolitan School community.

For our international and non-profit Berlin Cosmopolitan School (elementary school and high school with various international degrees), we are looking for a:
Freelance Cooking Teacher (m/w/d) (6 Hours per week)

Your Tasks
- Lead fun and educational cooking classes for primary school students
- Develop and execute simple, healthy, and child-friendly recipes
- Teach essential cooking techniques, kitchen safety, and proper hygiene
- Create an engaging and supportive atmosphere for young learners

Your Profile
- Demonstrated experience in cooking or culinary arts
- Prior experience teaching or working with children is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative, patient, and enthusiastic about working with kids
- Ability to manage a classroom and ensure a safe cooking environment
