We are looking for a **Postdoctoral Researcher in Computational Neuroimaging** with focus on neuroimaging genetics/transcriptomics to join the research group of Prof. Dr. Christine Ecker in the **Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry**at the Goethe University Hospital in Frankfurt.
The successful applicant will be involved in the transregional collaborative research grant (TRR 379) “Neurobiology of Aggression - a Transdiagnostic Approach in Mental Health Disorders”, funded by the DFG.

**Your role**
- Develop novel analytical frameworks for integrating Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) data with genetic and transcriptomic data to stratify mental health conditions.
- Disseminate resulting software for use within the wider scientific community.
- Teaching and supervision activities, knowledge dissemination, and publication of results in international peer-reviewed scientific journals.
**Who you are**
- PhD in (Bio)informatics, Computer Science, or Biomedical Engineering
- Strong programming skills in R, C++, Python, and MATLAB.
- Interest in big data analytics
- Knowledge in computational neuroimaging techniques and analysis using software packages like FreeSurfer, or expertise in conducting genetic analyses; e.g. Genome-Wise Association Studies (GWAS) and computation of polygenic risk scores (PRS) is of advantage
- Experience in big data analysis and machine learning is desired, though not essential.
- Due to legal regulations, valid prood of measles immunity / measles vaccination is required
