**The Department of Regenerative Musculoskeletal Medicine in the Institute for Musculoskeletal Medicine (IMM) **at the University Hospital in Muenster, Germany is offering a position initially limited to 2 years.
**Part-time with 19,25 hours (50%)**
**Salary level according to TV-L E13**
The translational Department of Regenerative Musculoskeletal Medicine provides a close connection between biomedical basic research and clinical studies and has expertise and well-equipped facilities for research in cell biology, animal models, histology, biochemistry, molecular biology, murine motion analysis, biomechanics and imaging.
We are looking for a senior scientist to support our project and lab management.
This position requires a strong interest in lab organization and grant and paper writing. Direct experiences in these skills will be of advantage. We also expect strong communication (German, English), organizational and problem-solving skills. Interest in developing and establishing new techniques will be appreciated.
- Contribute to the preparation and publication of scientific papers
- Support of lab work with regard to safety (S1/S2 lab, genetic engineering, animal experiments), organization and quality e.g., review of protocols and procedures, preparation of meetings and seminars
**Qualifications**:
- Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline
- Strong interest and experience in lab organization, grant writing, and scientific publication
- Direct experience in lab safety, genetic engineering, and animal experiments
- Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and conducting high-quality scientific research
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
