**About our client**

Our client is a PE-backed Buy-and-Build Platform with a focus on infrastructural engineering services, overseeing the strategic planning of pivotal infrastructure such as powerlines, water channels, tunnels, or traffic routes. Our client is hereby enabled to make a meaningful contribution to energy transition and mobility transformation within a highly relevant, non-cyclical industry. As a rapidly growing company, our client is now looking to hire a dynamic and highly organized Chief of Staff to join their leadership team. As such, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the platform's founders in driving the company's growth and achieving strategic objectives. Furthermore, you will be involved in all aspects of our client's M&A activities to contribute to further expansion and growth.

**What the job involves**
- Work closely with C-level executives to provide strategic advice, insights, and recommendations to drive business growth and achieve company objectives
- Oversee and manage key projects, ensuring effective execution, tracking progress and delivering results
- Foster internal collaboration and communication, ensuring alignment and smooth operations across the organization
- Identify areas for improvement and implement processes, systems and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Prepare and deliver high-quality reports, presentations, and communications for executive-level meetings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors
- Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Founders, including value creation efforts
- Support in planning, organization, and execution of M&A transactions, including cross-functional coordination of all project participants including target companies, PE Deal Team members, internal departments as well as external consultants (M&A consultants, auditors, lawyers)

**Who we are looking for**
- Successfully completed university studies in Economics, Finance or Business Administration
- Relevant pre-experience, ideally obtained within Strategy Consultancy
- Proven experience in building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executive, investors and clients
- Ideally, practical experience in the execution of M&A transactions (due diligence, valuation, project management) as well as profound knowledge in business valuation, modelling of business cases, financial models and accounting/balancing
- Strong analytical thinking skills as well as strong communication and organizational skills
- Committed team player with a high degree of ownership and ability to drive workstreams independently
- High level of integrity, professionalism as well as exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization
- Written and spoken fluency in German and English is a must
