**Your role**:
The NCE DMPK preclinical M&S expert is a member of the Discovery Project Team, depending on the phase of the project. As scientific matter expert, you represent the NCE DMPK function ensuring proper flow of information between the project, the function, and key stakeholders. You will also contribute to / lead scientific initiatives designed to improve the M&S capabilities within our drug discovery organization.

**Who you are**:

- Education in either Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnological Sciences, Biomedical/Chemical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree with 5 years in pharmaceutical/biotechnological industry or Ph.D./Post-Doc preferably with experience in in pharmaceutical/biotechnological industry
- Comprehensive understanding of the concepts of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics during drug discovery & development
- Strong hands-on experience with modeling software (such as: MatLab, R, Phoenix/WinNonlin, NONMEM, Monolix etc).
- Experience with DDI predictions using appropriate static and dynamic approaches is desirable.
- Experience in Python, C/C++ and/or other programming languages would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of related disciplines (pharmacology, toxicology, nonclinical safety, drug design, bioanalytics, etc.) is desirable.
- Fluent spoken and written English, German is a plus.
