**Your responsibilities**
- Drive Market Channel Optimization (MCO) of UNIPER’s portfolio in short term physical markets:
- Asset optimization and market access week ahead to day ahead to intraday
- Swedish power plant portfolio (Nuclear, Hydro, Thermal) with 20TWh/a production and significant market share in Ancillary Services markets
- Maximize value of Hydro flexibility
- Lead operational teams by providing:
- Detailed market and asset optimization expertise
- Best practice and strategies for all MCO operations
- Compliant operations
- Manage stakeholders and hone interfaces
- External (e.g. TSOs, counterparties, market forums)
- Internal (e.g. assets, legal, forward desk, back office)
- Shaping future setup of the desk by:
- Supporting new business and growth initiatives
- Improve and develop tools and processes in regard to upcoming market design and portfolio changes
- Implementation of further algorithmic trading strategies and automatization solutions
**Your profile**
- Qualifications
- Experience in Nordic physical power markets
- Relevant technical or economic degree or similar qualifications
- Competencies
- Strong cross functional cooperation/ communication and networking skills
- Self-reliant and proactive work style
- High problem-solving and prioritization ability
- Data analysis/ analytical affinity
- Team play
- Language skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English + Swedish or Norwegian
