Project Officer Russian Subject Matter Expert

SMX is seeking a Russian Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support USAREUR-AF G2 Executive Office by providing intelligence support to mission command and subordinate assigned regional aligned and rotational units in Europe and Africa.

This is a proposal position contingent on contract award

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Review US IC products associated with Russian military activities and military publications to provide feedback to the USAREUR-AF ACE, G2, and CG
- Review USAREUR-AF operational plans to ensure pacing threat assessments regarding Russian military capabilities, organization, and scheme of maneuver remain consistent with historical deployments and force modernization efforts
- Provide monthly special assessments to the Commanding General and USAREUR-AF G2 informed by US IC Russian experts and USAREUR-AF AOR host nation intelligence community assessments
- Support Commanding General and USAREUR-AF G2 requests for special assessments in support of Command or Intelligence requirements / strategy Provide assessments and briefing in support of conferences, distinguished visitors, and USAREUR-AF operations plans and strategy design efforts

**Required Skills & Experience**
- Required Clearance: TS/SCI
- Must have three years experience managing complex projects
- Master's Degree in a related field and 3 years of specialized intelligence experience: OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of specialized intelligence experience: OR 10 years of specialized intelligence experience
- Thorough understanding of the intelligence cycle and architecture, including planning, collection, research, analysis, and production
- Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing

**Desired Skills & Experience**
- Current Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience managing complex projects at the component or higher level in the European AOR is preferred
