Teamlead Monitoring Platform

**Your Tasks**:
- Shaping and developing the future monitoring landscape for MediaMarktSaturn including Site Reliability techniques
- Designing of Monitoring principles and services for public and private Cloud services
- Improving and automation of monitoring processes
- Close cooperation with other cloud teams to achieve product goals
- Ensure that all cloud resources are equipped with security-relevant features
- Planning of the budget together with the Engineering Delivery Lead
- Be an active part of the technical community for the respective competency
**Your Profile**:
- Experienced in building and managing a passionate and high-performing team
- Always curious to test out new patterns and tech, especially in monitoring area
- Extensive experience in cloud platforms (GCP preferred, Azure nice to have) and IaC
- Familiar with common DevOps technologies (K8s, Terraform, GitHub, Opsgenie, etc.) and programming languages
- Agile and open mindset with strong presentation and evangelism skills
- Independent working style, ability to work in a team, organizational skills as well as initiative, willingness to learn, and customer orientation
- Able to communicate to Top Management as well as to Engineers
- Degree in (business) informatics or comparable qualification
- Fluent in German and English

We are searching for a Cloud and Monitoring specialist (M/F/d) to shape the future monitoring landscape and to increase Site-Reliability Engineering maturity within MediaMarktSaturn. This dedicated role will be the lead of our Monitoring Platform team and a mixture of a People Manager and a Technical Leader at MediaMarktSaturn. Be part of our Monitoring Platform team, which is responsible for a central and harmonized monitoring landscape. We are offering one global monitoring solution for our service platforms, nevertheless of public or private cloud.
