**Your Role**:
This job is laboratory based and you will perform the laboratory work including synthesis, purification, and analytical interpretation of the synthesized materials. Your task will include developing synthetic routes for novel materials and implementing these in our synthetic laboratory on a multigram scale. You will work in an interdisciplinary and multicultural team, where collaboration within and beyond the team is essential.

**This position is limited for 2 years.**

**Who you are**:

- PhD or at least Masters degree level in chemistry, organic synthesis
- Excellent preparative skills, sound knowledge in relevant analytical methods and analytical interpretation
- Happiest when doing practical work in the laboratory
- Ability to work independently with mínimal guidance and high level of initiative
- Experience in industry and technical knowledge of LC materials synthesis would be an advantage
- Very good communication skills, with ability to record results precisely and accurately
- Excellent team player, showing initiative combined with very good organisational skills
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
