**JOIN OUR TEAM**:
As **Team Lead Demand Planning** you will lead a high-performing team of demand managers & planners and bring our demand and supply planning to the next level. You will collaborate with counterparts in Data Science, Inventory management, Supply Chain, Tech, Sales, and Buying functions across hierarchies to senior management to achieve your goals. We seek an innovative leader with a passion for shaping the trajectory of Westwing's Demand and Supply Planning tools and processes, pivotal in driving bottom-line success. This position is **unlimited** and **located in Munich**.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:

- lead the development of the vision and roadmap of demand and supply planning, ensuring alignment with Westwing’s company-wide objectives
- lead, develop, and mentor a team of demand planners, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- become an integral part of our integrated business planning process, and be accountable for revenue & inventory forecasts
- continuously improve, simplify, automate, and innovate tools and processes for demand planning and cross-functionally
- drive forecast accuracy both for baseline and final forecast and effectively communicate forecast and inventory estimations with risk assessments and mitigation strategies
- monitor and evaluate the impact of changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies on our inventory and availability position
- manage demand and supply planning for sales events and inventory allocation for all business channels
- perform ad hoc analysis on all aspects of demand and supply plans, contributing to data-driven decision-making beyond demand planning

**YOU COME WITH**:

- 5+ years of experience in demand planning or a comparable role with leadership experience
- experience in leading and developing a team
- analytical background and mindset and strong affinity for data-driven decision-making
- proficiency in Excel and SQL (VBA, Python, or another scripting language is a plus) and an understanding of optimization models
- desire to build and continuously challenge the status quo
- strong communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
- a self-starting mindset and the ability to work both alone and in a team
- fluency in English
