As a Senior Synthetic Chemist, you will design, execute, and optimize chemical processes, playing a key role in the discovery, scale-up, and technology transfer of carbohydrate

- Designing, developing and optimizing chemical technologies;
- Promoting innovative methodologies of new product development;
- Supporting chemical technology scale-up activities in kg -lab;
- Supporting specification settings and analytical controls of technology steps;
- Communicating technological developments with the Head of Chemistry;
- Supporting technology transfer of chemical reactions to industrial partners/CMOs;
- Developing purification/isolation methodologies of bioconversion processes;
- Supporting the patent attorneys with experimental data.

**Qualifications**
- Having a PhD degree and 4+ years of work experience as chemist or having a MSc degree and 8+ years of work experience as chemist;
- Experienced in synthetic organic chemistry, preferably in carbohydrate/lipid chemistry;
- Experienced in - chemical technology developments;
- Experienced in chemical optimization and scale-up activities in both research lab and kg-lab environments;
- Fluent in English;
- Familiar with literature search tools;
- Ability to understand complex matters with a continuous focus on improvement.
