**Role Purpose**
The Senior Site Procurement Director Indirect STO plans and leads all strategic aspects within the categories of Indirect TechOps on a regional level and develops proposals for strategic business decisions. The role provides high value procurement solutions to the business at sites in the region and category strategies; supports third party vendor selection, vendor development, technology management and performance measurement activities.**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Serve as key Procurement contact for senior Indirect STO stakeholders for all Procurement related topics. Build effective relationships of mutual trust and understanding.
- Accountable to understand business priorities and ensure Procurement activities effectively support business strategies.
- Key supporter and Enabler for implementation and execution of the sites productivity/cost efficiency projects.
- Accountable for key compliance metrics such as PO-compliance, process compliance, internal audits. Support centrally led processes (e.g. NFCM, TPRM).
- Lead the Site Procurement team - if any - and act as a role model of the Sandoz Values & Behaviours.
- Lead the governance model in the area of responsibility.
- Manage and build effective relationships with key suppliers to drive value for Sandoz through cost effectiveness and access to innovation.
- Ensure effective local implementation of global supplier strategies (e.g. implementation of strategic suppliers, contracting principles, support execution of global/regional contracts).

**Minimum requirements**
- University/Advanced level degree needed. Master’s Degree/other advanced degree in the Economics, Finance or related areas is preferred.
- 10 years of relevant business experience (industry specific experience). Preferably >10 years of experience in Procurement or other related experience within the Pharmaceutical industry, preferably in category management, supplier management, or related area, with a focus in the Indirect TechOps domain.
- Strong project management or other leadership experience.
- English (excellence in speaking and writing), additional languages desirable.
