Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest suppliers of premium and luxury passenger cars and vans.
Direct Sales combines all sales functions at the wholesale and retail level under one roof in an efficient and lean organization. The division covers the exclusive sale of new vehicles to employees of Mercedes-Benz Group AG (incl. subsidiaries), as well as the delivery of vehicles via the customer centers. This organizational unit is also responsible for the collection and marketing of used vehicles.
Mercedes-Benz Members offers customers a wide range of products and services. From trade-ins, test drives and advice to registration services, everything is offered from a single source. The range of new vehicles covers the brands Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, smart and Mercedes-Benz vans, which can be purchased either as annual car leases or as purchase models. In addition, there is a wide range of young used vehicles from Mercedes-Benz passenger cars and smart. The Sales Management team is the link between the Mercedes-Benz Members sales network and the central divisions and controls the activities from a central position. This primarily includes sales and order management as well as the design of processes and sales promotion measures.
During your internship you will work with the central sales management of Mercedes-Benz Members in Vaihingen Stuttgart, which takes care of the control and coordination of the decentralized sales network regarding sales, offer as well as processes.
These are some of the challenges you will face:
- Operational activities in sales management Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars, smart and Mercedes-Benz Vans
- Collaboration in complaint management
- Reporting & monitoring
- Editing of sales information via internal online platform
- Preparation/implementation of sales promotion measures
**Qualifications**
- Course of study in the field of economics or a comparable course of study
- Confident knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
- Confident handling of MS-Office
- Commitment and ability to work in a team
- Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
- Conceptual skills, customer orientation, ability to work in a team, affinity for the automotive industry and sales
- Other: Driving license class B
