THE POSITION

As our **Team Lead Supply Chain Planning** (M/F/x) you lead a team of 2 Supply Chain Planners. The Supply Chain Planning is a key team in the optimization of our integrated Fuels Value Chain. The Team plans and controls the supply and stocks of mineral oil products for VARO in more than 60 terminals and load locations in Germany. With your team you develop long term and mid term plans that are implemented on a monthly and weekly basis by the Supply Operations Team. Additionally you are the key link to our refinery optimization team ensuring a smooth operation in the refinery. The planning team coordinates between the marketing and supply departments to bring the business needs together and to ensure an optimized implementation of our integrated strategy.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading and developing the Supply Chain Planning team
- Drive continuous improvement through the development of tools and processes
- Coordination with other teams within the Supply Chain Optimization departments as well as Marketing and the S&T organization
- Preparation and control of a monthly supply & demand plan for heating oil, gasoline, diesel fuel as well as JET-A1
- Control of product qualities in the tank

YOUR PROFILE
- A successfully completed university degree with at least 3 years of professional experience in the areas of supply chain, planning or logistics preferably in the petroleum industry
- Team lead experience and interest to manage an international team
- Very good knowledge of English (written and verbal)
- You develop initiative and act independently and on your own responsibility
- You think analytically, with foresight and solution-oriented
- You have the ability to communicate in an engaging, friendly and clear manner and are an enthusiastic team player
- you are enthusiastic about always looking for the optimal solution in a rapidly changing market environment
- Very independent and structured way of working
- Experience in Microsoft BI-Dashboard is a plus
