Modern Workplace Support Specialist

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our IT Modern Workplace Support team at our prominently located office in Frankfurt. Our Workplace Support team provides 1st and 2nd level IT support directly to our business partners and internal employees via on-site and remote support reacting to incidents and fulfilling IT requests raised via ITSM ticketing tool. The team maintains our on-premises IT facilities across all our European offices. We offer you a challenging job in open, goal-oriented, and fully international team. Your tasks & responsibilities
- First and Second level end-user support to incoming incidents and requests.
- Supporting the Joiner/Leaver process in alignment with HR.
- Ownership of assigned projects, with emphasis on Frankfurt Workplace Management projects.
- Full responsibility for Frankfurt employee onboarding/offboarding and for the Frankfurt office.
- Ownership of ITSM queue management in our JIRA service management project tool.
- Involvement in other IT projects in alignment with the Modern Workplace team lead.
- Being the main escalation point for Frankfurt support related requests and issues.
- Assisting with workplace configurations, setup, support and replacement of notebooks, screens, cables, and various peripherals.
- Supporting the endpoint management (smart phones, tablets, laptops) via Intune.
- Ensure that the defined policies, procedures, and best practices are followed.
- Knowledge and procedures documentation using Confluence.
Your professional & personal profile
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
- IT Support, IT Service Desk, IT Operations or IT Specialist background and experience in high performance environment (5+ years)
- Training or degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Experience with following products and services is essential:
- MS 365 Administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
- MS Windows Servers / Windows 10 support and administration
- Experience with Intune, Azure Active Directory.
- Windows 10 / MacOS support and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of ITIL and IT best practices
- Knowledge and experience with incident management and ITSM ticketing tools
- Experience with managing and troubleshooting network devices (Switches, Access points, Routers, etc) and good understanding of Networking and Network Protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of employees in an international organization and understand the needs of various business units
- Willingness to learn new technologies and tools
- Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality
- Industry certifications and memberships are a plus.
- Fluent in English and at least another EU language (written and spoken)
