**We digitize microscopy and laboratory workflows**:
PreciPoint GmbH, located in Garching near Munich, develops intelligent microscope systems and innovative analysis software, thus contributing to the digitalisation and further development of laboratories. Our customers range from medical laboratories and research institutions to industry.

To support our growing team, we are looking for an Optics Technician (M/F/x) at our office in Garching as soon as possible temporary for one year.

**Your tasks**:

- Operate advanced optical microscopes to collect and summarize measurement data
- Close collaboration with internal microscope developers and engineering team
- Follow standard operation procedures, lab safety rules, and know basic troubleshooting

**Your profile**:

- Successfully completed university degree in the field of optics
- First experience in optical concepts, such as transmission, reflection, imaging, lasers, and microscopy
- Knowledge in building optical set ups for image formation
- Basic programming skills, preferably uManager, C++ and/or Java
- Ideally experience with electronic hardware control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy working in the laboratory
- Fluent English language skills, German is a plus
