We are currently seeking a Senior Payroll & Project Specialist to join our DACH team.
This pivotal role combines operational excellence in managing payroll for the DACH region with strategic involvement in implementing a global payroll system. The position involves overseeing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the successful deployment of cutting-edge payroll technology.
You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams, sharing expertise globally, and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR Ops and Payroll processes.

Essential Functions- DACH Region Payroll Operations (50%):
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes for the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.-
- Handle payroll queries and issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.-
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.-
- Global Payroll System Implementation (50%):
- Support and lead on the review, selection, and implementation and testing of a global payroll system.-
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess system capabilities, and provide valuable insights.-
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for end-users on the new payroll system.-
- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency through automation and system enhancements.-
- Work with IT or payroll system vendors to implement system upgrades and enhancements.-
- Develop and maintain payroll procedures, documentation, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and consistency.-
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Stay abreast of legislative changes in the DACH region and other relevant jurisdictions, ensuring payroll processes align with statutory requirements.-
- Generate and analyze payroll reports, identify trends and discrepancies, and proposing corrective actions.-
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and enhance payroll processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall service delivery.-
- Propose and implement best practices in payroll administration and system utilization.-
- Others:
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with global HR Ops and Payroll teams to ensure alignment with broader company policies, standards, and practices.-
- Knowledge Sharing: Share expertise and best practices with team members, contributing to the continuous improvement of global HR Ops and Payroll processes.-
- Cross-Functional Support: Provide support to cross-functional teams, offering insights and guidance on payroll-related matters.-
- Technology Adoption: Stay informed about advancements in HR technology and payroll systems, contributing to the strategic development and adoption of innovative solutions.Minimum Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Finance, or a related field.- Extensive experience in payroll operations, with a focus on the DACH region.- Proven experience in participating or leading a global payroll system implementation project.- Project management skills are considered as an advantage.- In-depth knowledge of DACH region payroll regulations and compliance.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a global team.- Proficient in relevant payroll and HRIS systems.
