**ABOUT THE VENTURE**

Join one of our early-stage e-commerce ventures in Berlin to build and own their consumer acquisition strategy. The venture has secured early funding and is currently preparing for wider European expansion of its app-first business. The venture has already secured a strong founding team with a track-record scaling European e-commerce businesses internationally.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

After early success in core markets, the venture is now looking to increase its consumer acquisition funnel to unlock further growth in existing and future expansion markets. As an early marketing leadership hire, your scope would cover full cycle ownership of the consumer acquisition strategy, execution, metrics and results, alongside taking a key leadership role within the growing organisation.

**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**
- Design, launch and lead the venture's performance marketing strategy and other channels focusing on user acquisition across all markets and channels (UAC, Paid Social, ASA, ASO, SEO, SEA, SEO, Influencer etc.)
- Hire and grow a performance marketing team to meet the business needs
- Set and manage significant monthly budgets (6+ figures) across multiple marketing channels, with a CAC and LTV led approach
- Ensure best possible spent optimisation by continuously adjusting campaigns based on learnings from multiple A/B tests across creatives, targets and other strategies
- Drive strategic decisions based on testing to optimise campaigns on ROAS and impact
- Actively investigate and identify high potential opportunities to test and incorporate into the channel mix
- Manage performance metrics and budget tracking to optimise at every opportunity
- Develop and ensure the consistent communication of our acquisition strategy across all marketing channels
- Working hand in hand with product, ops, commercial and tech on cross-department growth projects

**What We're Looking for**:

- 5+ years of experience in B2C Acquisition marketing, ideally within an app-based or e-commerce setting
- Experience in team leadership and handling of complex campaigns across multiple channels
- Proven experience in handling 6-digit monthly budgets
- A track-record in scaling mobile-app user acquisition campaigns
- Proven experience in developing innovative approaches to qualified traffic generation, conversion, acquisition or optimisation.
- Strategic but hands-on mentality, a structured way of working, with extraordinarily logical thinking and analytical skills
- True passion for marketing and willing to contribute to strategic discussions at senior management level and know how to clearly communicate this vision to relevant parties within our organisation
- Can do attitude, no job is too big or too small, self-starter, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Full proficiency in English - German a big plus
