To investigate the predisposition of leukemia in the GATA2 syndrome, we offer a
**PhD position (M/F/d)**:
- The laboratory is embedded in the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology of the University Medical Center Freiburg and located at the Centre for Translational Cell Research (ZTZ). The lab is equipped with diverse state-of-the-art devices (sorters, flow cytometers and a core facility), and a close collaboration between the research foci and the different research groups is ensured. We are a multidisciplinary and international team conducting research in hematopoiesis, bone marrow failure and leukemogenesis, with many different projects related.-
**What is required**:
- knowledge in the field of cell biology, immunology, bioinformatics
- FELASA approved training would be an asset
- we expect exceptional interest in conducting in vivo scientific research
- good speaking and writing skills in English are required
- the project is predicted to run for 36 months and features a TV-L E13 65 % position
