Freelance Translator

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Translate Freeletics content from English into Brazilian Portuguese - newsletters, blog articles, social media, our website and mobile app(s)
- Master a volume of approximately 2,500 - 5,000 words per month
- Revise and proofread texts translated by other freelance translators (EN into PT-BR)
- Perform terminological research to ensure cultural equivalence between the source and target texts
- Ensure that the style of the translated content meets the original tone, brings the intended message across and uses language that reflects the spoken Brazilian Portuguese language and the target audience
- Check the translation / revision content in-context (screenshots / QA links)

**Your Profile**:

- At least 2 years proven experience as translator / revisor
- Brazilian Portuguese at native level with excellent communication skills
- Experience in translation of Legal content is a plus
- Creative, with enthusiasm for the sport and fitness, health, motivation, nutrition industry
- A reliable, accurate and dependable team player who meets deadlines
- Ability to work in Central European (Summer) Time Zone +/- 1 hour
