We offer a position as lab technician in our product development team for hot melt & hot melts Pressure Sensitive Adhesives in the field of Packaging Adhesives

**YOUR ROLE**:

- Product development and product optimization of hot melt and hot melt pressure sensitives adhesives for packaging adhesives
- Driving own product optimization projects under limited supervision, planning and execution of lab activities and experiments according to requirements from ADP
- Providing laboratory support for hotmelt und hotmelt PSA product development and optimization projects for the APP SBU with regional and occasionally global scope
- Close collaboration with other PD team members to drive projects to completion on time and in full
- Production of lab scale hot melt adhesive formulations, organization and scale up support during pilot and production trials
- Testing and approving raw materials that are used in new formulations and the approval of alternative raw materials for existing products
- Characterization of adhesive samples by means of chemical and physical methods, such as rheology, viscosity and softening point
- Interaction with production and quality departments EU wide as well as documentation of laboratory results in the appropriate electronic systems
- Active contribution to the laboratory SHE and 5S programs

**YOUR SKILLS**:

- Ability to independently draft development plans as well as planning and priority setting
- Reliability, Flexibility, Initiative, Team spirit
- Good German and English skills
- Good IT-skills (MS 365, MS Teams, etc.)
- First experience with hotmelts is beneficial
